Family Wedding in Colorado

A few weeks ago my family and I headed to Colorado for Cousin Sam's wedding.  A few pics from the outdoor ceremony and log cabin reception, and some highlights, of course!

Amy's Progressive Dinner Birthday Party

Amy's bday party was such a great idea!  20 of us spent the night traveling around Dallas to some very delicious and trendy spots!  Not to mention, the group was super fun...until they ALL realized they had to get up with their kids early the next morning.  Other than that...a great time was had by all!!!

First stop:  Five Sixty for Cocktails... You might remember, Luke and I visited this spot in January.

Amy insisted on toasts...seriously, hand selected people to toast her...and they obliged...

In a classic move, Amy's sister Angela simply toasted herself.  Sisters!!!

in a Cadillac ESCALADE limo...

 

 He thought of everything... great restaurants, drinks for the limo, menus to peruse between venues...

 Then, he forgot the menus and a party bus showed up instead of a limo...

Cheers to Summer

Summer has come, and for me, is almost gone!  I have been meaning to blog, but I have let one thing or another get in the way.  (I have 2 super great posts from Amy's bday party that I must get to soon!!!)  So tonight, while sitting in my living room (too lazy to go get my camera and camera cord) I decided to check my iPhone photo album to see what I've been up to lately.  Well, it looks a lot like this...

I was feeling a tad under the weather, and I decided a drink with gingerale would do me good.  I was right!

And just to prove that the only pictures on my phone aren't of my cocktails and to prove that gingerale is indeed an elixir of life, here I am with some delicious gellato in Denver (for above cousin's wedding).  By the way, I also find ice cream to be an elixir for me...so I'm not really sure what exactly did the trick...
